Sims Medieval Mac Unable To Start Game

Hey,
I've followed every instruction in the installation of the Sims Medieval, Sims Medieval: Pirates and Nobles, and Sims Medieval Ultimate Fix (I hope as I'm still new to this) to the dot, and I received a pop up when I try to start the game that says:
Unable to start game.
Service initialization failed (0x0175dcbb)
When I try to open the launcher it also gives me a little pop up:
There was an error during startup. Please see the Log for more details.
What does this mean exactly? How can I fix this?
Thanks!

I just tried to install the Sims Medieval game, that I was unable to utilize on my mac, on my Windows 10 os. I was not aware of the compatibility issue. Now all I have is a black screen. Okay so my Sims game has been acting really weird ever since I installed patch 1.55. I have all the expansion packs up to University Life and I am really excited to get Island Paradise, but I am scared that I won't ever be able to play again. That is the one that starts the sims 3 #5. Feb 23, 2017 @ 12:05pm Originally posted by p. Unable to start game. Service initilization failed (0x039e8474).
